Loudness is the tenth studio album by Japanese band Loudness. It was released in 1992 only in Japan, after the band had terminated the recording contracts with US labels. The album reached No. 2 in Japan on the Oricon Charts, making it Loudness' highest-charting and best-selling album in Japan.After leaving Mike Vesera, Masaki Yamada (EZO/FLATBACKER) was officially recruited as an official member for the third season. Bassist Masayoshi Yamashita left just before recording, supporting Taiji Sawada who had just left X after the Tokyo Dome performance. The masterpiece 'LOUDNESS' produced by Akira Takasaki, self-produced by Akira Takasaki, and self-confidence with the band name as the album title, is clearly different from the past, with a hard and aggressive sound that pursues modern heaviness.
